Serving Ethnos coffee as well as Sloane tea, they offer pour-overs, iced lattes, tea lattes, and more, with syrups made in-house.

For the Dirty Golden Chai Latte, they‘ve taken their delicious housemade chai syrup and turned it up a notch with a bit of honey, turmeric, vanilla syrup, and a double shot of espresso. You’ll love it over ice on a hot summer day, but it’s equally delicious served hot!

Iced Yemeni Latte

The Iced Yemeni Latte—traditionally called mofowar (the Arabic word for “boiling”)—is the original mocha latte. Aldar Cafe has adapted the traditional mofowar recipe—developed as a hot drink—as an iced version.

Aldar brews their coffee from beans imported from farmlands in Yemen that have been growing coffee for hundreds of years. “Essentially Yemeni people were the first to grow coffee as a crop and were the first to brew coffee,” says owner Hussan Alwadi. “This was the first coffee drink developed with milk. Since Yemeni coffee beans have a natural cocoa flavor, ever since coffee became a global phenomenon, baristas all over the world have tried to mimic this drink by adding chocolate syrup.”

Even the word “mocha” comes from a port city in Yemen where coffee beans traditionally were exported. The Iced Yemeni Latte is historical, exclusive, unique, natural, and original. “What more could be needed in a good cup of coffee?” says Hussan.

You are definitely riding the wave on this one.

Bananas Foster Latte

When the Coffee Central barista team created this summer’s drink menu, including the Bananas Foster Latte, they were aiming to elevate classic flavor combinations—childhood treats that they wanted to revisit as adults. For the Bananas Foster Latte, they add espresso to a housemade brown-sugar-and-banana sauce. Then they stir the mixture into oat milk and ice. Lastly, it’s topped with sweet cream and a light drizzle of caramel. Vanilla bean paste in the sweet cream makes it taste like melted vanilla bean ice cream.

Though the Bananas Foster Latte is inspired by a dessert, it’s intentionally not too sweet. “Our goal is never to mask the flavor of coffee, but to pair it with fun and funky things,” says general manager Mikayla Roberts. “We hope ChampionSip participants who make the drive to Southaven or Hernando will leave with a delighted inner child, a fresh but familiar flavor on their tongue, and maybe even a sweet cream ‘stache.”

The NitroGato

In Congregation Coffee’s NitroGato, you’ll find a drink that’s both refreshing and decadent, inspired by an affogato. The NitroGato features an exquisite blend of rich, smooth nitro cold brew coffee and creamy, luscious vanilla ice cream. It offers a delightful fusion of bold coffee flavors with the sweet, velvety texture of classic vanilla ice cream.

This drink is all about the details, like housemade vanilla flavor made from fresh vanilla beans cured in an eight-month process, cinnamon that emphasizes the drink’s fresh flavors, and a Biscoff cookie on top that dials up the decadence. It’s served in a clear, tall craft glass to showcase the beautiful layers and the cascading effect of the nitro cold brew.

The Nitrogato is perfect for hot summer days on the Congregation Coffee patio, as an afternoon pick-me-up, or as an after-dinner dessert drink.

Fenix Sunrise

The Fenix Sunrise is made with bourbon varietal coffee beans—and its name is derived from the Guatemalan farm that the amazing beans are sourced from. Ethnos Coffee Roasters extracts the beans as espresso, which is poured over iced pineapple juice. Strawberry syrup and a sprinkle of tajin add fresh tropical notes.

Ethnos Coffee is dedicated to magnifying people and farmers. The word ethnos means “nations” in Greek, and the name Ethnos Coffee communicates the company’s vision and mission of bringing people across cultures around tables. In addition to serving fresh drinks at their Arlington cafe, they supply several Memphis coffee shops wholesale and ship directly to customers through their wholesale store.

Campfire Latte

“This iced latte was inspired by our family’s favorite summer-night treat,” says Rob Lackey, co-owner of The Family Cup Coffee Co., a mobile truck that travels around the Memphis area. The Campfire Latte was created with a combination of flavors to take you back to s’mores by the campfire, without all the mess. It starts with a drizzle of chocolate sauce and Family Cup’s house-made marshmallow cream, with milk. Next up is a double shot of espresso brewed from the Su Casa blend coffee beans from Vinculo Coffee Roasters. Then it is finished with their house cold foam, marshmallow cream, and a light campfire dust.

“Our whole family helped create this drink!” says Rob. “It is very much a family business, and we all taste test the drinks and give ideas for the flavors and names we put on the menu.” Rob’s oldest son even helps with making the marshmallow cream!

Iced Nola

French Truck’s signature drink—New Orleans Iced Coffee, known by their regulars as Iced Nola—is composed of coffee, chicory, and milk. And perhaps most importantly, it’s all shaken over “the good ice” (if you know, you know!). This cool treat is perfect for any time of year but particularly beloved on these hot summer days.

You’ll find the Iced Nola at any of French Truck’s three Memphis locations. Founded in New Orleans, French Truck arrived in Memphis as an early adopter of Crosstown Concourse, Memphis’s vertical urban village. Their second location, on the Highland strip, is bright, roomy, and surrounded by a patio. And their latest location is in the heart of the Edge district.

The Cordial Coconut

As she created The Cordial Coconut, Hustle & Dough lead barista Katy Evans was inspired by summer and wanted a drink that reminded her of the season. She started with the idea of an iced Americano and built from there with cold foam, island flavors, and cherry bitters. The result was The Cordial Coconut, featuring espresso, coconut cold foam, cherry bitters, and candied cherry—served iced or hot. Your summer plans may not include island-hopping, but The Cordial Coconut brings the flavors of the islands to you!

You’ll find Hustle & Dough downtown inside the lobby of the Arrive Hotel. In addition to a full coffee menu, Hustle & Dough offers housemade pastries, breakfast, and lunch. It’s a great place to fuel up with a friend or caffeinate while you work!

Cafe Mươi (Salty Cream Coffee)

With a delightful blend of bold flavors and contrasting textures, Mochi & Mi’s Cafe Mươi (Salty Cream Coffee) elevates the traditional coffee experience. This drink begins with a base of premium, freshly brewed coffee, selected for its rich, robust, and aromatic qualities. But the real star of the Cafe Muối is its unique topping—velvety cream with a touch of pink Himalayan salt. The salt enhances the sweetness and complexity of the coffee without overpowering it.

Cafe Mươi presents a visually appealing contrast between the dark, robust coffee and the light, creamy topping. The saltiness of the cream provides a savory counterpoint to the coffee’s natural bitterness, making each sip a multi-layered sensory experience. It pairs well with a variety of pastries and desserts, particularly those with chocolate or caramel flavors.

Cafe Mươi is sure to impress even the most discerning coffee enthusiasts.

Glazed Lemon Latte

“Creamy and decadent, but also light and refreshing—your favorite lemony sweets brought to you in a drink!” That’s how Sweet Lala’s describes their Glazed Lemon Latte. The Glazed Lemon Latte combines the bold note of espresso with bright citrus. Sweet flavors of vanilla and brown sugar matched with crisp lemon point to Sweet LaLa’s fan-favorite glazed lemon cookie. Topped with candied lemon zest, the Glazed Lemon Latte is a sugary, tart, summertime treat.

Located in the heart of East Memphis, Sweet Lala’s is a family-owned bakery in the Regalia shopping center and is known for custom wedding cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. They also offer breakfast, brunch, and a full espresso bar inside the cozy setting of a Memphis-themed gift shop. Regular patrons often work from the dining room or upstairs party loft (with corporate meeting space) while enjoying a sweet snack and a latte.
