If you think Juicing with Jackie is just about cold-pressed juice, think again! Jackie Towns is serving up way more than refreshing drinks—she also prepares vegan comfort food. But most importantly, she’s creating a vibrant, feel-good food experience that keeps farmers market regulars coming back for more. With her infectious energy and passion for wellness, Jackie turns every sip into a celebration. “It’s love at first sip, and it’s love at first bite,” Jackie says with a smile.

Juicing with Jackie was founded in March 2021, during the pandemic, when people were searching for ways to improve their health. A health, wealth, and wellness expert, Jackie turned her passion into a thriving, family-owned business that stands out in the crowded world of juice shops.

Juicing with Jackie isn’t just a business venture but a mission to bring fresh, wholesome nutrition to the community.

What sets Juicing with Jackie apart? Unlike many other juice brands, Jackie’s blends contain no water—just 100 percent juice, pulp and all. Every sip of Jackie’s cold-pressed juices is packed with nutrients. “Juicing is a lifestyle for me,” says Jackie. “I believe in what I do. I’ve even reversed my own pre-diabetes with my products.”

When she began experiencing health problems, Jackie switched to clean eating and drinking cold-pressed juices. She even fasted for a time, consuming only her own juices. “I saw a huge change in my health,” she says.

Beyond juice, Jackie offers fresh, homemade vegan meals that keep customers coming back. These meals are made in two private kitchens downtown. Her food is not just nutritious; it’s deeply satisfying and flavorful. Dishes include roasted sweet potatoes, jackfruit nachos, spinach dip, Buddha bowls, and even veggie burgers made from mushrooms. The mac and cheese is a top favorite, proving that comfort food and healthy eating can go hand in hand. Her peanut butter cups, a healthier alternative to Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, are huge—about the size of the palm of your hand! Jackie also provides customized meal prep, giving customers three days’ worth of delicious and nutritious food tailored to their needs.

Jackie’s menu is a testament to her creativity and commitment to wellness. Sweet Potato Love—her signature sweet potato juice—is a customer favorite. Other flavorful blends include Oh Happy Day, a blend of pineapples and mangos, and Lovely Day, which features purple cabbage and pomegranates. Fruits of Labor balances Concord grapes with Cara Cara oranges, and Let Them Eat Cake is a fusion of watermelon, dragon fruit, and apple.

Jackie doesn’t cut corners. Every juice and meal is made with high-quality, clean ingredients, without any additives or preservatives. Her business has become more than just a place to buy juice—it’s a movement. Jackie has provided juice for the Golden State Warriors and partnered with organizations like Cigna Healthcare, Shelby County government, Youth Villages, Methodist Le Bonheur, Christian Brothers University, and Healthier 901. She’s also a mentor for Junior Achievement and hopes to introduce vegan options in school systems to help shape healthier futures for children.

Jackie’s dedication to quality and health is evident in everything she does. She spends countless hours perfecting her recipes, ensuring that every ingredient is clean and used to its full potential. “I’m always in the kitchen,” she says. “Even on my off days, you will find me in the kitchen.” Upcoming additions to Juicing with Jackie include seasoning kits, soup starter kits, a crock-pot series, and a salad series.

Despite her success, Jackie remains humble and driven, often reminding people,

“Life gave us lemons, and we made cold-pressed juice!”

(And if she ever runs out of lemons, she’ll probably find a way to juice something even better!) She sees juicing as a ministry of helping others on their health journeys.

For those looking to improve their own health, her advice is simple: “Just start.”

Whether through juice, meal prep, or simply making healthier choices, Juicing with Jackie is here to guide the way. You can find her at the Cooper-Young and downtown farmers markets, place an online order for delivery, or connect via social media.
